King Recruit worked on a retained contract basis to find a Senior Content Marketing Executive. The brief involved working as part of a wider Marketing Team to develop and implement the Content Marketing Strategy across a portfolio of brands and manage allocated social channels. The individual needed to be comfortable with responsibility for increasing brand performance, contributing innovative ideas and working with the wider team to ensure targets and deadlines were met.
We took a hybrid approach to sourcing candidates. We utilised our database of over 2000 candidates, advertised the position locally, as well as headhunting through social media channels, job boards and a range of other search methods. Coupled with the need to find someone who was in a very specific geographical location or finding someone relocating, this was a challenging position to fulfil.
The recruitment process took 12 weeks from initial instruction to start date. The first stage was a digital interview conducted by the Marketing Director and the second interview was with the Marketing Director and the Content Marketing Manager.
The successful candidate had been working for a London agency and was returning to the South West.
