We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cloud Integration Specialist to join an innovative growing business utilising cutting-edge AI technology.

As a Cloud Integration Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of the platform’s cloud-based systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing the overall user experience, enabling efficient data management, and supporting the scalability of the platform as the business continues to grow.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, data analysts, and IT professionals, to design and implement cloud integration solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Lead the integration efforts for various cloud services and APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and synchronization.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes to facilitate the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from diverse sources into cloud-based systems.
  • Identify and address potential data integration challenges, bottlenecks, and performance issues to ensure optimal platform performance and user satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage cloud integration processes, promptly diagnosing and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to cloud integration, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the integration team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in cloud integration, data engineering, or a related role.
  • Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including services like AWS Lambda, API Gateway.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar languages commonly used in cloud integration.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and data formats (JSON, XML)
  • Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines for data integration.
  • Familiarity with data storage and database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
