We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join an innovative growing business utilising cutting-edge AI technology.
You will play a crucial role in extracting insights from large datasets related to industry trends. Your analytical skills will directly influence the decision-making process, enhancing the experience for clients and contributing to the growth of impactful, environmentally conscious projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and objectives, translating them into actionable data analysis tasks.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines to gather, clean, and transform relevant data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within investment data, contributing to data-driven insights.
- Create visualizations and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data findings to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Conduct predictive and prescriptive analyses to provide recommendations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics to provide informed insights.
- Utilize statistical techniques and machine learning models to predict future trends and assess risk factors.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the data analysis workflow.
- Actively contribute to the development of data-driven tools and resources that enhance the user experience on the platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the finance, investment, or sustainable sectors.
- Proficiency in data manipulation, transformation, and analysis using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization libraries (Plotly, Tableau).
- Strong experience with data visualization techniques to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques, and their applications in predictive modelling.
- An understanding of investment concepts, financial markets, and sustainable investment trends would be beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work with complex and unstructured data.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration is a plus.
- Passion for sustainability and a genuine interest in contributing to environmentally conscious initiatives.
