King Recruit are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the leadership team of a small dynamic business based in Somerset. This position would suit an experienced hands-on finance professional looking for the next step in their career.

Our client is growing and is looking for key hires to support its further growth.

This role will initially be responsible for all the day-to-day accounting functions, payroll and administration. Reporting directly to the MD, the role will develop with time to include financial planning and analysis.

• Salary: £35,000.00-£43,000.00 per year

Main duties will include (but are not limited to)

• Processing of purchase/sales ledgers
• Bank reconciliation
• VAT & CDS returns and payments
• Payroll
• Maintaining personnel files and generating contracts
• Producing quarterly management accounts

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in all aspects of accounts and payroll functions
• Excel and Xero (or similar accounting software) experience
• Month-end processing and reporting experience
• Managing of PAYE, NIC, P11ds and Workplace pensions
• Knowledge of VAT & CDS reporting
• Preparation & Interpretation of Management Accounts, Cash flows and Budgeting reports
